As a television producer and News Reporter, Oby has had the privilege of covering stories that appeal to an international audience. Oby covered the Boko Haram protest, which took place in front of the Nigerian Embassy in Washington DC. In addition, she is a freelance U.S. correspondent for Battabox.com, Nigeria’s most exciting news and entertainment channel based in Lagos. She is also a freelance news reporter for US Weekly

OB AT THE AFRICAN IMMIGRANT CAUCUS

2014

Launched in November, 2013, The African Immigrant Caucus consists of community,  clergy, and business leaders who believe African immigrants in the diaspora need a voice in the political system. As part of the organization, OB gave a speech on the difficulties of pursing a career in media as an African with an "accent."

2018 MIDTERM ELECTIONS

November, 2018

The News with OB went to a voting poll in the Bronx to find out from the residents why voting in the 2018 midterm elections was important.
