As you already know by now, my first book, "sibling caregivers" was published a little over a month ago. Thanks to a few friends across the pond, I was able to kick off my first book tour in London and it was a huge success!!! Below is some of the feedback during the book signing in London:
"Your book provides a framework for caregiving and promotes inclusiveness. See, more people need to hear about your story because the book sends a message that it's okay to be different." ~ Onyinye Ezeanyika (London).
"Don't be ashamed to tell people about your role as a caregiver. Everyone should get a copy of this book to position themselves for the caregiver role all of us will be taking on at some point in our lives." ~ Edit Maduka (London).
Major shoutout and thank you to everyone who helped plan the event, bought a copy of the book, invited people, recommended the book to someone, wrote an Amazon review, the success of the launch would not have been possible without you!
The goal for this book is to raise awareness in our community, especially among people who wouldn't normally pay attention to disability and caregiving. For me, this work about creating more awareness to disabilities in our communities is just beginning. But with so many more people discussing this issue, there is great hope for the future.
Don't miss out on the valuable information in this book, get your copy on Amazon.
